Open Lake Forecast for Lake Superior

For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior.

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...

Weak ridging of around 29.8 to 29.9 inches moves back over Lake
Superior from northern Ontario tonight through Wednesday before
another low from the Central Plains lifts through Lower Michigan or
closer to the Straits at around 29.7 inches. Ridging increases to
29.8 inches over Lake Superior later in the day Thursday before
troughing of 29.4 to 29.6 inches moves across the lake Friday
through Saturday. This deepens further to 29.0 inches over far
northern Quebec by Sunday morning. 30.2 inch ridging builds in over
Lake Superior for Sunday night.
