Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum. .SYNOPSIS... Lake Superior will be between a 30.1 inch high extending across the East Coast and a 29.4 inch low moving east over Hudson Bay through this evening. A 29.8 inch trough extending from the Hudson Bay low moves through western Lake Superior this evening. Broad, weak ridging over the Great Lakes basin builds back to near 30.0 inches inches for Sunday before a weak 29.9 inch trough moves over the Lake Sunday night into Monday. A high pressure near 30.3 inches builds over the Canadian Prairies on Tuesday, bringing 30.1 inch ridging back over Lake Superior beginning Monday night. The high will approach the western arm of the lake by Thursday morning, slowly shifting overhead through Friday.
