Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum. .SYNOPSIS... Ridging progressively builds over Lake Superior tonight into Thursday, eventually peaking at 30.0 to 30.1 inches Thursday night ahead of a 29.2 inch low lifting out of Alberta. This low looks to bring troughing of around 29.4 inches across Lake Superior on Saturday. By the end of the weekend, Lake Superior looks to be between low pressure of near 28.7 inches over the Canadian Maritimes and high pressure of near 30.1 inches over the Canadian Prairies. Ridging then builds in from the Canadian Prairies and Plains over Lake Superior to 30.1 to 30.2 inches by Monday night.
