For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior.

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...Tonight, Lake Superior is between a 28.8 inch low
over Nova Scotia extending a 29.8 inch trough over the eastern
Great Lakes Basin and a broad 30.1 inch ridge over the western
portions of the Upper Midwest. The ridge will weaken to 30.0
inches as it shifts across the Upper Great Lakes throughout the
rest of tonight and early Sunday. A 29.7 inch low developing over
the Southern Plains on Sunday will then lift northeast, crossing
the Great Lakes region on Monday at 29.8 inches. As the low
deepens to 29.6 inches while tracking to southern Quebec on
Tuesday, a 30.3 inch high pressure ridge will build southeast to
the Middle Mississippi River Valley. As the low drifts north over
Quebec during Tuesday night and Wednesday, the ridge will weaken
to 30.1 inches as it approaches the Upper Great Lakes. Thursday,
the low pressure will retrograde to James Bay at 29.7 incheswhile
broad high pressure of at least 30.4 inches resides over the Great
Plains.
