Open Lake Forecast for Lake Superior

For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior.

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...

30.3 inch high pressure remains centered over the western Great
Lakes today, weakening to 30.2 inches this evening before shifting
to the Lower Great Lakes and east Sunday. By midday Monday, that
high will be replaced by a high building to 30.3 inches over James
Bay. Tuesday, this high builds to 30.4 inches over Quebec while 29.8
inch troughing is over the High Plains. Wednesday, the high further
builds to 30.5 inches with both features remaining largely
stationary. Thursday, a low of 29.7 inches emerges over Manitoba
while the high weakens to 30.3 inches off the New England coast.
