National Weather Service Marquette MI
1002 AM EDT Sun Jun 29 2025

For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior.

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...

A 29.6 inch low passing through northern Ontario today and tonight
sends a 29.8 inch trough over the lake this afternoon through
tonight. Monday into Tuesday, Lake Superior is expected to be
between a 30.0 inch high over the Plains and a low over Quebec
deepening from 29.6 to 29.4 inches, with 29.8 inch troughing holding
steady over the lake until Wednesday morning. 30.0 inch ridging then
builds over the western Great Lakes Thursday. Low pressure emerging
from the northern Rockies into central Canada reintroduces troughing
in the Great Lakes next weekend.
