...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 515 PM PDT
FOR NORTH CENTRAL VENTURA COUNTY...

At 439 PM PDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles southeast of
Mettler, or 29 miles south of Bakersfield.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts, quarter size hail, frequent lighting,
         and heavy downpour.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Western Lockwood Valley...
and Highway 33 from Lockwood Valley Road to the Santa Barbara County
line.
