...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL LOS ANGELES COUNTY
THROUGH 245 PM PDT...

At 231 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles north of Glendora, moving west at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. Locally heavy
         rain and minor flooding.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Angeles Crest Highway between Mount Wilson and Mount Waterman...
Falling Springs...
and Angeles Crest Highway between Mount Waterman and west
of Wrightwood.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
