DISCUSSION:

Two impulses will bring rain to the area. One this evening through
Saturday and a second Sunday evening into Tuesday. A chance of rain
will remain inbetween the two storms.

The most likely rainfall amounts for the first storm will be .5 to
1.00 inches for areas N of Pt Conception (up to around 2 inches for
the Santa Lucia Mountains) , and .25 to .75 inches for south of
Point Conception. There is moderate confidence in these numbers and
they will likely evolve with time. There is a 10 percent chc that
the rainfall will be double these amounts.
