...ISOLATED TO SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS POSSIBLE ACROSS THE
COASTAL WATERS THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH AT LEAST FRIDAY MORNING...

An upper-level low pressure system will bring the risk for
isolated to scattered thunderstorms across the coastal waters
through late tonight for the waters north of Point Conception. For
the waters south of Point Conception, the threat of thunderstorms
increases this evening, and storms may occur through the late
morning tomorrow.

Any thunderstorm that forms will be capable of producing locally
gusty and erratic winds, rough seas, dangerous cloud to surface
lightning, heavy rainfall with reduced visibility, and
waterspouts.

Mariners should seek safe harbor when thunderstorms are imminent.
