.DISCUSSION...

Occasionally breezy northwest to north winds will prevail today
through tonight, with mid 20s minimum relative humidity on Monday
and moderate recovery to around 50 percent for Monday night. Present
indications are that the marine layer should remain south of the
fire location, though there is a small chance (around 20 percent)
that enough onshore flow brings the edge of the marine layer near
the fire location Monday afternoon. Interests around the fire
should monitor the latest conditions, as a brief wind-shift cannot
be ruled out on Monday. Temperatures will warm a couple degrees from
Sunday into Monday, while dry conditions prevail. However, a more
significant heatwave is on the way for later in the week, especially
Wednesday through next weekend, which will be accompanied by the
potential for explosive fire behavior through significant vertical
plume growth. Small chances (10-20 percent) of showers and
thunderstorms will come late in the week and into next weekend
during a monsoonal moisture influx.
