.DISCUSSION...
Very little change from the prevailing conditions through Tuesday,
except for a slightly stronger northeast wind push Sunday and
Monday Nights. Onshore winds will continue each afternoon, with
winds from the southwest more common on the west and north flanks
of the fire, and northwest winds more common on the south and east
flank of the fire. Typically deep mixing heights will continue to
pose the risk for vertical plume development and locally erratic
behaviors each afternoon. The marine layer should stay out of the
fire through Sunday or Monday, but may start to nudge into the
western flank by Monday or Tuesday. A sharp warming and drying
trend is still on target for Wednesday through Saturday of next
week, peaking on Wednesday or Thursday.
