...ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS ACROSS THE MOUNTAIN FIRE THROUGH
THE WEEKEND DUE TO GUSTY ONSHORE AFTERNOON WINDS AND LOW HUMIDITIES...

.DISCUSSION...A weak upper level trough of low pressure is expected
to pass through northern and central California over the weekend
which will gradually increase the onshore flow across the region.
The onshore wind push is expected to overspread the entire
burn area by 1200 each day over the weekend. Despite the onshore
winds, dry air will remain in place across the eastern portions of
the Mountain fire burn area (including Moorpark) for both
Saturday and Sunday. By late Sunday, there should be a marked
increase in humidity levels near Moorpark, climbing to above
40 percent by 1600.

Eye level winds.....Variable 2 to 3 mph becoming southwest to west
                    4 to 6 mph with gusts to 8 mph by 1200
                    increasing to 5 to 7 mph with gusts to 9
                    mph by 1400.

                    8 to 12 mph with gusts to 15 mph by 1200
