...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM PST THIS MORNING...

.DISCUSSION...

North winds have arrived and will continue to intensify over the
next few hours. While this burn area is under a Wind Advisory, it is
right on the edge of a High Wind Warning, thus there is a chance
for even stronger wind gusts to surface this morning, and again
Friday. However, confidence is lower in lower elevation winds
compared to ridgetop winds. Any relief from the winds this
afternoon and evening will be brief, with northeast winds set to
increase early Friday morning. After a relative lull in the evening,
winds will pick up rapidly and become stronger Saturday. Strong
winds expected again Sunday.
