.DISCUSSION...
Increasing monsoonal moisture and instability will bring an increased
chance of showers and thunderstorms near the fire area on Tuesday afternoon.
While the probability over the fire area is around 20 percent, the chances
increase to around 40-50 percent nearby in Frazier Park. While the storms
appear to be wetter across the mountains on Tuesday, there is a slight
chance of isolated dry lightning strikes on the periphery of storm, as well
as strong/erratic winds gusts up to 40 mph with any nearby thunderstorm.
The enhanced instability will maintain deep mixing heigts over the area.
Temperatures will continue to gradually cool on Wednesday, with a similar
risk of monsoonal thunderstorms near the fire in the afternoon hours.

Sky/weather.........Partly cloudy. 20 percent chance of showers and
                    thunderstorms in the afternoon.
Max temperature.....92.
Min humidity........24 percent.
Eye level winds.....Northwest winds 4-8 mph becoming south to southeast
                    5-8 mph with gusts to 12 mph by 1100. Strong/erratic
                    winds possible near any thunderstorms.
Ridgetop wind.......North to northwest winds 5-8 mph with gusts to 12 mph,
                    becoming south to southeast 15-20 mph with gusts to
                    30 mph by 1100. Strong/erratic winds possible near any
                    thunderstorms.
Mixing height.......1000 ft AGL early increasing to 12000 ft AGL in the
                    afternoon.

Sky/weather.........Partly cloudy. 10 percent chance of showers and
                    thunderstorms in the afternoon.

                    gusts to 5 mph after 2300.
