Offshore winds were observed this morning, with Mt. St. Helena recording 6 hours of 20-25 mph winds from the NNE. The offshore gradient is relaxing as the sea breeze takes over, and winds are expected to remain onshore and follow the typical diurnal pattern for the next several days. Warmer weather today will yield to a brief cool-down Sunday through Monday before a more substantial warming trend kicks off Tuesday. By Wednesday and Thursday inland temperatures will reach the 90s with a very shallow marine layer and low RH. There is no sign of wetting rain through next weekend at least.
