...PERIODS OF RAIN EXPECTED TO CONTINUE THROUGH TUESDAY WITH ANOTHER
POSSIBLE STORM LATE WEEK...

The current strong early season storm system will continue to
impact the area through tonight. Rainfall coverage and overall
intensity will continue to decrease through the afternoon and
tonight, but isolated stronger storms or thunderstorms will still be
possible through this evening, resulting in the continuation of the
Flood Watch. Areas under a Flood Watch will still have the potential
for brief heavy downpours capable of producing shallow debris flows,
roadway flooding, and additional rock/mudslide activity. Light to
moderate shower activity is still expected to continue on Sunday,
then another storm will bring widespread light to moderate rain to
the region Monday into Tuesday. This system could bring 1 to
2 inches in the Monday through Tuesday time frame, but rainfall
rates and associated impacts are expected to be less than today`s
storm. Another storm is then possible to impact the area Thursday
into Friday, but there is still a good amount of uncertainty in
timing and amounts.
