...Discussion from Monterey...

Gusty onshore winds will linger through Monday evening, especially
inland gaps and passes. Winds will ease Monday night as the marine
layer deepens and moves inland. Excellent humidity recovery is
expected for lower elevations and moderate for higher terrain.
Nightly intrusion of the marine layer and cooler temperatures will
be the main weather pattern through the week.

Note : All winds are 20-foot Winds Unless otherwise specified.
Thunderstorms imply strong, gusty and erratic winds.

...Discussion from Los Angeles/Oxnard...

...SEASONABLY ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS FOR THE ANTELOPE VALLEY
AND ADJACENT FOOTHILLS THIS WEEK DUE TO GUSTY ONSHORE WINDS AND LOW
HUMIDITIES...

...WEAK TO LOCALLY MODERATE SUNDOWNER WINDS EACH EVENING TUESDAY
THROUGH SUNDAY FOR SOUTHWEST SANTA BARBARA COUNTY...

Seasonably warm, dry, and breezy conditions will persist today
through this weekend. The strongest onshore winds each afternoon and
evening will be focused across the Antelope Valley and adjacent
foothills, where gusts of 30 to 40 mph will be common. These
stronger onshore winds combined with humidities in the 10 to
25 percent range will bring seasonably elevated fire weather
conditions across the Antelope Valley and adjacent foothills, with
an increased risk for grass fire activity. There will also be the
potential for weak to locally moderate sundowner winds across
southwest Santa Barbara county each evening from Tuesday through
this weekend, with the strongest winds likely being Thursday through
Saturday. The sundowner winds will likely be associated with
elevated humidities, generally above 40 percent.
