...Discussion from Monterey...

The quiet weather pattern continues. Expect mostly sunny and
clear conditions into the next work week. Chances for interior fog
rebuild overnight specifically in the North Bay and East Bay as
well as along the coast. Winds turn offshore into the middle of
next week, reducing fog chances, but this flow looks to be weak
enough to have little effect on overall temperatures and RH.

Note: All winds are 20-foot Winds Unless otherwise specified.
Thunderstorms imply strong, gusty and erratic winds.

...Discussion from Los Angeles/Oxnard...

...DRY AND COOLER FRIDAY THROUGH THE WEEKEND...

Warm and dry conditions will continue this afternoon across the
region. Some gusty offshore winds will prevail through the
afternoon in the usual wind-prone areas of Ventura and Los Angeles
Counties and over the Santa Lucia Mountains. It will turn several
degrees cooler on Friday with some increased humidity, especially
for the coast and valleys, as pressure gradients trend more
onshore.

Dry and gradually cooler weather will persist Saturday and
Sunday. Temperatures by Sunday are expected to be several degrees
below normal for most of the coast and valleys, but remain a few
degrees above normal for the mountains and deserts. Conditions are
expected to remain dry on Monday and Tuesday. It should also turn
slightly warmer each day as offshore pressure gradients increase
some.

NOTE...Beginning Monday December 1, NWS WFO Los Angeles/Oxnard
will enter the off-season fire weather schedule (one fire weather
planning forecast issued by 330 PM Monday through Friday...and by
930 AM on Mondays and/or the first day following any federal
holiday). However spot forecasts will be available upon request at
any time 24/7. In addition, if critical fire weather conditions
occur we will restore normal fire weather season operations.
