.DISCUSSION...
Cooler conditions can be expected across the area during the next few
days with enhanced onshore winds gusting between 25 and 35 mph across
the interior. Afternoon relative humidity will drop to between 15 and
30 percent across the interior, leading to seasonably elevated fire
weather candidness through at least Monday.
As for winds, Sundowner winds, gusting 40 to 50 MPH, can be
expected across the western half of the Santa Ynez Range and adjacent
foothills late this afternoon into tonight. There will also be Sundowner
winds gusting to between 30 and 40 mph,developing across the eastern
half of the Santa Ynez Range. Local humidities could fall to between
25 and 35 percent across sundowner wind exposed areas, leading to
some elevated fire weather conditions through tonight across southern
Santa Barbara county.
