.DISCUSSION...
Fairly seasonal conditions will continue through the first half of next
week, but the risk for grass fires remains with rapidly drying fine
fuels. High temperatures between 75 and 85 will be common, with minimum
humidities of 25 to 45 percent, except 10-20 percent in the drier
interior. A deepening marine layer will support good overnight humidity
recovery for most areas into early next week.

Wind gusts of 20 to 40 mph will be common in the typical areas, from
the northwest to northeast direction each night, and southwest to
northwest direction each afternoon. The areas with the highest
combination of dry grasses and gusty winds is southwest Santa Barbara
County, the I-5 Corridor, and the Antelope Valley foothills.

There is a 40-50 percent chance of above normal temperatures with heat
and fire weather concerns returning late next week.
