...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON PST TODAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of Los Angeles and Ventura Counties,
  including the Apache, Post and King Burn Scars.


* WHEN...Until noon PST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1000 AM PST, Doppler radar indicated Heavy Showers. Minor
    flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the
    advisory area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Lockwood Valley, Rose Valley, Alamo Mountain, Frazier
    Mountain, Topatopa Peak, Reyes Peak, Highway 33 between
    Wheeler Springs and Rose Valley Road, Gorman, Highway 33 from
    Lockwood Valley Road to the Santa Barbara County line,
    Interstate 5 over the Grapevine, Pyramid Lake and Highway 138
    between Quail Lake and Lancaster.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
