The National Weather Service in Los Angeles/Oxnard has extended the
* Flash Flood Warning for...
Portions of Central Los Angeles County in southwestern
California...
This includes the Eaton Burn Scar and other burn scars.
* Until 200 PM PST.
* At 1135 AM PST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
moderate to heavy showers continuing to move across the warned
area. Flash flooding, along with mud and rock slides, are ongoing
or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding, along with mud and rock slides, caused
by heavy rain.
SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.
IMPACT...Mud, rock, and debris flows will impact drainages,
roads, and residences in and directly below the burn
area.
* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Mount Wilson, Pasadena, Altadena, Sierra Madre, Arcadia and
Monrovia.
And all of the Eaton Burn Scar and vicinity.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
