.Synopsis for the southern California coast and Santa Barbara
Channel including the Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary and
National Park...at 10Z, or 2 AM PST, a 1023 MB surface high was
roughly 600 NM NW of Los Angeles, while a 1016 MB surface low was
over the Four Corners Region. Winds and seas have subsided this
morning. There is a chance for Small Craft Advisory level winds for
the Santa Barbara Channel this afternoon, and again during the
afternoon/evening Saturday and Sunday, favoring western portions.
Small Craft Advisory level winds are also possible for the southern
outer waters Saturday afternoon through Sunday. Onshore winds will
increase Monday.
