.Synopsis for the southern California coast and Santa Barbara
Channel including the Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary
and National Park...at 16Z, or 9 AM PDT, a 1007 mb surface low was
over the Santa Barbara Channel, while a 1035 mb surface high was
centered about 1000 NM W of Seattle. Widespread strong winds and
large steep seas are expected through Sunday night. Monday night
into Tuesday night, there is a chance of thunderstorms over the
coastal waters, please see the MWSLOX for more information.
