...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN LAKE COUNTY THROUGH
730 PM CDT...

At 713 PM CDT, NWS meteorologists were tracking a strong
thunderstorm over Beach Park, or over Waukegan, moving north at 25
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Automated equipment. A 54 mph wind gust was measured near
         the Waukegan Marina with this storm.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Winthrop Harbor, Zion, Beach Park, and Waukegan.
