...Bitterly Cold Wind Chills and Light Accumulating Lake Effect
Snow This Morning...

Wind chills between 10 below and 20 below zero are expected this
morning in northwest Indiana as part of an extended stretch of
bitterly cold conditions this week. Wind chills are expected to
remain near to below zero in the afternoon. Avoid spending
prolonged periods of time outdoors if you can, and make sure to
wear appropriate clothing if you need to be outside.

In addition, light lake effect snow is leading to partially snow
coated roads, mainly across northeast Porter County. Be prepared
for slowed and slippery travel through the morning commute.
