...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN NEWTON...SOUTHERN
PORTER...SOUTHEASTERN LAKE AND NORTHERN JASPER COUNTIES THROUGH 230
PM CDT...

At 200 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near La Crosse to near DeMotte to Roselawn to
near Lake Village to 8 miles northeast of Morocco. Movement was east
at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Localized wind gusts up to 50 mph and localized pea size
         hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Wheatfield, Kouts, Thayer, Sumava Resorts, Roselawn, Stoutsburg,
DeMotte, Fair Oaks, Parr, Dunns Bridge, Shelby, Lake Village, and
Schneider.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Frequent
cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
