...A Look Back at the Climate for the Month of July 2025 for
Chicago and Rockford...

At Chicago, the average high temperature was 85.9 degrees, which
is 1.4 degrees above normal. The average low temperature was
69.0 degrees, which is 2.6 degrees above normal. The mean average
temperature for the month was 77.5 degrees, which is 2.1 degrees
above normal. 4.29 inches of liquid precipitation were recorded,
which is 0.58 inches above normal.

No daily or top ten monthly records were set for Chicago during
this past July.



At Rockford, the average high temperature was 85.8 degrees, which
is 1.9 degrees above normal. The average low temperature was
66.6 degrees, which is 3.0 degrees above normal. The average
temperature for the month was 76.2 degrees, which is 2.4 degrees
above normal. 6.49 inches of liquid precipitation were recorded,
which is 2.68 inches above normal.

The following daily records were set for Rockford this past July:
* Tied record daily warmest low temperature of 74 degrees on the
  24th.

No top ten monthly records were set for Rockford during this past
July.
