  Open Waters from Winthrop Harbor to Michigan City out to Mid
Lake...

At 711 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable
of producing winds to around 25 to 30 knots. These thunderstorms
were located along a line extending from 11 nm northwest of McHenry
to 9 nm west of Elgin to 14 nm west of Aurora, moving east at 20
knots.

Locations impacted include...
Harrison-Dever Crib, Belmont Harbor, Wilmette Harbor, Winthrop
Harbor, Montrose Harbor, Monroe Harbor, Diversy Harbor, Waukegan
Harbor, and DuSable Harbor.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 25 to 30 knots, locally
higher waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.
