This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

  No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Friday Afternoon...
  Elevated Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Friday Night...
  Significant Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
     Level 3 of 5 Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
  Elevated Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Saturday...
  Significant Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.

DISCUSSION...

A very powerful storm system will affect the area Friday
afternoon through Saturday.

Strong southerly winds are likely Friday afternoon and evening
with gusts over 40 mph expected.

Then, a fast moving line of showers and thunderstorms is expected
to sweep across much of the outlook area Friday night. Some of
the thunderstorms could become severe posing a threat for damaging
winds.

Finally, late Friday night through midday Saturday, a period of
very strong and potentially damaging southwest winds are expected.
Several hours with occasional wind gusts over 50 mph are
possible.
