This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Limited Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
     Level 1 of 5 Damaging Wind Risk...up to 60 mph.
  Limited Flooding Risk.
  Limited Excessive Heat Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Widely scattered thunderstorms are expected to develop this
afternoon and continue into the early evening. The strongest
storms will be capable of producing gusty to locally damaging wind
gusts as well as heavy downpours.

Hot and humid conditions are expected today with peak afternoon
heat indices of 100 to 105 degrees.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Friday and Saturday...
  Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Sunday...
  Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
  Limited Excessive Heat Risk.
Monday...
 Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

Periodic thunderstorm chances will continue through early next
week.

Heat indices may exceed 100 degrees again on Sunday.
