This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Elevated Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
     Level 2 of 5 Damaging Wind Risk...up to 60 mph.
  Elevated Flooding Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Scattered thunderstorms are expected northwest of Interstate 55
tonight. A few of these thunderstorms may be strong to severe
with locally damaging winds the primary severe weather threat.

Torrential rain will also be possible with these thunderstorms
which may allow for localized flash flooding. The highest risk
of flooding appears to be across far northern Illinois, along
and north of Interstate 90, where thunderstorms may move over
the same areas overnight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Sunday and Monday...
  Elevated Flooding Risk.
  Elevated Thunderstorm Risk.
Tuesday and Wednesday...
  Limited Flooding Risk.
  Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION...

There will be periodic chances of thunderstorms Sunday through
Wednesday. Thunderstorms will be capable of producing torrential
downpours with some threat for localized flash flooding.
