This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Limited Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
     Level 1 of 5 Damaging Wind Risk...up to 50 to 60 mph.
  Limited Excessive Heat Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Isolated thunderstorms will continue to develop through early
evening, particularly near Lake Michigan and south of the Kankakee
River Valley. Isolated to perhaps widely scattered thunderstorms
are then possible in the late evening and overnight. The strongest
thunderstorms through tonight may be capable of producing
localized strong to damaging downburst winds.

Heat indices this afternoon away from the Illinois shore will top
out around 100 degrees.
