.DISCUSSION...
A cold front will cross the area this afternoon, with a slight
chance for a few thunderstorms along the front. Rain-free
conditions are then expected tonight through Tuesday morning. A
slow-moving cold front will stretch across northern Illinois late
Tuesday through Wednesday morning, with a period of showers and
thunderstorms containing torrential rainfall Tuesday night.
Temperatures will be near to slightly before normal for mid-
August.
