.DISCUSSION...
A parade of weather disturbances will track from the Plains
east northeastward into the lower Great Lakes today and tonight.
This will result in periods of scattered showers at times today,
followed by another wave of heavy rain producing showers and
thunderstorms late tonight into early Thursday. Currently, areas
along and south of I-80 are the most favored to see heavy rainfall
from thunderstorms tonight into early Thursday morning. A period
of dryer weather is forecast Thursday afternoon through at least
the first half of the day Friday. Thereafter, the chances of
showers and thunderstorms will return for the weekend as another
cold front settles into the area.
