Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Roads and streets may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1255 PM CST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain. Multiple rivers gauges in the warned area have rapidly climbed to bankfull. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Buffalo Creek, McDonald Creek, Skokie River, and North Branch Chicago River. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
