...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 845 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of east central Illinois, including the
  following counties, Ford and Iroquois.

* WHEN...Until 845 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Roads
  and streets may be flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 703 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms and media reported ongoing localized flooding.
    Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. One road that has
    water covering it in some areas is Route 9 between Gibson
    City and Paxton.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to one quarter of an inch are
    expected over the area. Minor flooding will continue.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Paxton, Gibson City, Milford, Cissna Park, Buckley,
    Stockland, Melvin, Loda, Roberts, Elliott, Wellington,
    Thawville, Clarence and Claytonville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flood Advisory means minor flooding along waterways and other poor
drainage areas is imminent or may already be occurring. Persons in
the advisory area should use caution and avoid flood waters.
