Occasional wave height is the average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum. .SYNOPSIS...A 30.4 inch high will build from the lower Great Lakes today to off the New England coastline later Friday, where it will linger through Saturday. Another 30.4 inch high will then build across Quebec on Sunday and Monday, while a deepening 29.4 inch low slowly drifts north offshore of the Carolinas and to the southern mid-Atlantic coastline.
