For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Ontario

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A 29.9 inch low over Lake Erie this early morning
will drift eastward, south of the state border today, while
Hurricane Erin curves north/northeastward, with center of the storm
remaining well off the Carolina coastline. A 30.1 inch high will
then build across the Great Lakes region Thursday through Friday
night. A 29.5 inch low will move near the western shore of James Bay
Saturday, and linger just to the east of James Bay Sunday while
pushing a cold front across the Lake Sunday night.

of showers. Waves 2 to 4 feet building to 3 to 6 feet.
.TONIGHT...Northeast winds 20 to 25 knots. Waves 5 to 8 feet.
Waves occasionally around 10 feet.
.THURSDAY...Northeast winds 15 to 25 knots becoming east and
diminishing to 10 to 15 knots. Waves 4 to 7 feet subsiding to
2 to 4 feet. Waves occasionally around 9 feet.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...East winds 5 to 15 knots becoming northeast.
Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.FRIDAY...Northeast winds 10 knots or less becoming south. Waves
1 foot or less.
.SATURDAY...Southwest winds 5 to 15 knots. A chance of showers

.SUNDAY...Southwest winds 10 to 15 knots becoming west. A chance

Waves 3 to 6 feet building to 4 to 7 feet, then subsiding to 3 to
6 feet. Waves occasionally around 9 feet.
.THURSDAY...East winds 15 to 20 knots becoming northeast 10 to
15 knots. Waves 3 to 6 feet subsiding to 1 to 3 feet.
