676 FZUS61 KBUF 062001 GLFLO Open Lake Forecast for Lake Ontario National Weather Service Buffalo NY 401 PM EDT Fri Jun 6 2025 For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Ontario Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum. .SYNOPSIS... A stalled out frontal boundary just to our south will slip further south and away from our region tonight and Saturday...while a weak 30.0 inch high builds from the Upper Great Lakes to Quebec. The high will then depart into the Canadian Maritimes Sunday while an initial 29.6 inch low pushes across the Ohio Valley. Another broad 29.6 inch low will then slowly make its way from the Upper Great Lakes to James Bay Monday and Tuesday...then to Labrador on Wednesday.
