For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Ontario

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...Low pressure over the Upper Great Lakes will deepen from
29.6 inches to 29.4 inches as it passes along or just north of the
north shore of the lake this afternoon into this evening, before
making its way across New England tonight while further
strengthening to 29.2 inches. In its wake, a 30.2 inch high will
build from the Ohio Valley to the Mid-Atlantic states Thursday, then
will slide out to sea through Friday while allowing a 29.4 inch low
to track from the Upper Great Lakes to Quebec and push its trailing
cold front across the lake Friday night. Another 29.5 inch surface
low will then track from the Ohio Valley to New England Sunday and
Monday.

.REST OF TODAY...Southwest winds 15 to 25 knots becoming west and
increasing to 35 knot gales this afternoon. Showers. Waves 3 to
5 feet building to 9 to 12 feet. Waves occasionally around
15 feet.
.TONIGHT...Northwest gales to 35 knots diminishing to 30 knots.
Showers through the early overnight, then a chance of showers
late. Waves 10 to 14 feet subsiding to 7 to 11 feet. Waves
occasionally around 18 feet.
.THURSDAY...Northwest winds 15 to 25 knots becoming west. Waves
5 to 8 feet subsiding to 2 to 4 feet. Waves occasionally around
10 feet.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...West winds 10 to 15 knots becoming south. Waves
1 to 3 feet.
.FRIDAY...South winds 15 to 25 knots becoming west. Showers.
Waves 3 to 6 feet.
.SATURDAY...Northwest winds 15 to 20 knots becoming northeast
10 to 15 knots. A chance of showers during the day, then showers
likely Saturday night. Waves 3 to 5 feet subsiding to 1 to
3 feet.
.SUNDAY...Northeast winds 15 to 20 knots becoming northwest. Rain
showers likely during the day, then rain showers likely with a
chance of snow showers Sunday night. Waves 3 to 5 feet.

.THURSDAY...Northwest winds 15 to 25 knots becoming west. Waves
7 to 10 feet subsiding to 3 to 6 feet. Waves occasionally around
