For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Ontario

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A strong 30.7 inch high centered well to the north will
remain across the Lake through today. A 29.6 inch low over the upper
Great Lakes this morning will nudge a warm front toward the Lake as
it moves into the central Great Lakes this afternoon. This low will
slightly weaken to 29.7 inches as it passes just southwest of Lake
tonight while nudging the warm front a bit further east over the
Lake. The low then slide southeast into the mid Atlantic region
Saturday forcing the front back to the southwest of the Lake. A 30.2
inch area of high pressure will build across the lower Great Lakes
Saturday night through Monday. A 29.4 inch area of low pressure over
the Great Plains Monday night, will advance northeast into the upper
Great Lakes later Monday night into Tuesday morning while pushing an
attendant warm front across the Lake before heading northeast to
James Bay Tuesday night sending an attendant cold front across the
Lake.

.THIS AFTERNOON...East winds 15 to 20 knots. Waves 2 to 4 feet.
.TONIGHT...East winds 15 to 25 knots. A chance of rain showers
after midnight. Rain showers likely late. Waves 2 to 4 feet
building to 3 to 6 feet.
.SATURDAY...East winds to 30 knots. Rain showers likely. Waves
5 to 9 feet. Waves occasionally around 11 feet.
.SATURDAY NIGHT...East winds 15 to 25 knots diminishing to 10 to
15 knots. A chance of showers in the evening. Waves 5 to 8 feet
subsiding to 1 to 3 feet. Waves occasionally around 10 feet.
.SUNDAY...Northeast winds 10 knots or less becoming east. Waves
2 feet or less.
.MONDAY...East winds 5 to 15 knots becoming southeast. Waves 1 to
3 feet.
.TUESDAY...Southeast winds 15 to 20 knots becoming southwest
10 to 15 knots. Showers likely. Waves 2 to 4 feet subsiding to
1 to 3 feet.
