For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Ontario

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A weak cold front will cross the lower Great Lakes from
northwest to southeast today, before stalling just south of New York
State tonight. A 30.1 inch high will then build from the upper Great
Lakes Friday night to New England Saturday night, then to just south
of the Canadian Maritimes Sunday. Meanwhile, a weak 29.8 inch
surface low will pass near the lake Sunday morning. A general area
of weak high pressure averaging 30.0 inches will then build into the
Ohio Valley and southern Great Lakes Monday.
