For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Ontario

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A compact 29.6 inch low pressure near Georgian Bay this
afternoon will move east to the Ottawa Valley by this evening while
dragging a strong cold front across the lake. A 30.2 inch high will
build across the lake tomorrow through Wednesday. A 29.9 inch low
over the Ohio Valley Thursday will pass just south of the lake
Thursday night and reach the Atlantic coastline Friday. Multiple
surface waves will advance along a stalled eastern seaboard frontal
boundary Friday through Saturday.

TUESDAY AFTERNOON...

.TONIGHT...Southwest winds 15 to 20 knots becoming west and
increasing to 35 knot gales after midnight. Rain and snow showers
likely early, then a chance of snow showers late this evening.
Waves 2 to 4 feet building to 11 to 15 feet. Waves occasionally
around 19 feet.
.TUESDAY...Northwest gales to 35 knots diminishing to 30 knots. A
chance of snow showers through early afternoon. Waves 10 to
15 feet subsiding to 8 to 11 feet. Waves occasionally around
19 feet.
.TUESDAY NIGHT...Northwest winds to 30 knots becoming west and
diminishing to 10 to 15 knots. Waves 6 to 10 feet subsiding to
2 to 4 feet. Waves occasionally around 13 feet.
.WEDNESDAY...West winds 10 to 15 knots. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...Southwest winds 5 to 10 knots becoming
southeast. A chance of rain and snow overnight. Waves 2 feet or
less.
.THURSDAY...East winds 15 to 20 knots becoming northeast 10 to
15 knots. Rain. Waves 1 to 3 feet building to 3 to 5 feet, then
subsiding to 2 to 4 feet.
.FRIDAY...Northeast winds 10 to 15 knots becoming north. A chance
of rain. Waves 2 to 3 feet.

increasing to 40 knot gales after midnight. Rain and snow showers
this evening. A chance of snow showers late. Waves 1 foot or less
building to 13 to 17 feet. Waves occasionally around 22 feet.
.TUESDAY...West gales to 35 knots becoming northwest and
diminishing to 30 knots. Snow showers likely through early
afternoon, then a chance of snow showers late. Waves 13 to
17 feet subsiding to 10 to 14 feet. Waves occasionally around
22 feet.
.TUESDAY NIGHT...Northwest winds to 30 knots diminishing to 15 to
20 knots. A chance of snow showers. Waves 10 to 13 feet subsiding
to 3 to 6 feet. Waves occasionally around 16 feet.
.WEDNESDAY...Northwest winds 10 to 15 knots becoming west 15 to
20 knots. A chance of snow showers in the morning. Waves 2 to
