Open Lake Forecast for Lake Ontario

For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Ontario

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A 29.6 inch low over northern Quebec will continue ot
pull northeast overnight. A 30.1 inch high over the Tennessee and
Ohio Valleys Thursday will slide to the mid-Atlantic coastline
Friday. A 29.6 inch low will track across the lake early Saturday,
followed by a 29.7 inch low that will track near or just south of
the lake for later Sunday. This low will bring a cold front to sweep
across the region, where a surface low will ride north along the
boundary across the Mid-Atlantic region Monday.

.FRIDAY NIGHT...Southwest winds 5 to 10 knots becoming south. A
chance of showers overnight. Waves 2 feet or less.
.SATURDAY...South winds less than 10 knots becoming southwest
10 to 15 knots. A chance of showers. Waves 2 feet or less.
.SUNDAY...West winds 10 knots or less becoming northwest. Showers
likely. Waves 1 foot or less.
