...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS AND A GUST FRONT WILL IMPACT
CLARK...NORTHEASTERN MADISON AND SOUTHEASTERN FAYETTE COUNTIES
THROUGH 1015 PM EDT...
At 940 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms and a
gust front along a line extending from Wades Mill to 8 miles
southwest of Winchester.
Movement was southeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts from a gust front up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Richmond, Winchester, Harris Ferry, Goffs Corner, Peytontown,
Lyndale, Jackson Ferry, Locust Grove, Hunt, and Flanagan.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
