CENTRAL JEFFERSON COUNTIES THROUGH 515 PM EDT...

At 426 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 12 miles south of Salem to 11 miles northwest
of Brandenburg. Movement was east at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Louisville, Jeffersonville, New Albany, Shively, Corydon, Pleasure
Ridge Par, Pleasure Ridge Park, St. Dennis, Valley Station, and
Clarksville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
