.DISCUSSION...We`ll start the day off mild and dry with scattered
upper sky cover and temperatures warming toward the mid and upper 70s
by early to mid afternoon. Widespread showers and storms are expected
later this afternoon into the evening ahead of a cold front. The best
timing looks to be between 2 and 4 PM EDT for shower and storm arrival.
Look for gusty SSW to NNE gradient winds from late morning into early
afternoon ahead of showers and storms. Sustained 10 to 15 mph, with
some gusts in the 20 to 25 mph range are possible. Overall, expecting
between .5" and 1" of rainfall with this system. Drier and cooler
weather takes hold Sunday through Tuesday. Dry weather looks likely
into late next week with mild weather returning.
