.DISCUSSION...
Hot and humid conditions are forecast to continue into early next
work week, with afternoon and evening thunderstorms possible
(20-40% chance) both today and tomorrow. While most locations will
stay dry, the heavier storms could drop upwards of an inch beneath
their cores. Light winds will blow from the southwest early this
morning, then increase to 6-8 kt and veer to a northwesterly
direction by lunchtime, then more sharply switch to northeasterly
behind a backdoor cool front this evening into tonight. Despite
modest to deep mixing, these lackluster transport winds will
maintain poor to fair ventilation.
